Jason Davis

Owner & President of Maine Coast Contracting

Jason’s construction journey began in 2003 at Shriver Trade School, where he graduated as Foreman of the Carpentry Shop and Valedictorian of his class. Since then, he has worked with some of the most talented tradespeople across New England, developing a diverse and well-rounded knowledge base in the construction industry.
With a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to excellence, Jason founded Maine Coast Contracting to deliver high-quality projects while building strong, lasting relationships with clients. He believes that a successful project isn’t just about the final product—it’s about collaboration, trust, and ensuring that each client’s vision becomes reality.
When Jason isn’t on the job site, he’s passionate about outdoor recreation and spending quality time with his family. Together, they enjoy sailing and exploring their state by sea, embracing the beauty of the outdoors and the joy of adventure. Jason values high-quality relationships with friends, family, and clients alike, fostering connections that extend well beyond the workplace.

Ashleigh Davis

Office Manager at Maine Coast Contracting

Ashleigh Reed, Office Manager at Maine Coast Contracting, joined the company in 2024, bringing over a decade of professional experience in client-focused industries. Originally from Georgetown, Ashleigh developed a strong connection to the local community and a deep appreciation for the Maine way of life.
Before becoming a vital part of the MCC team, Ashleigh worked for 10 years as a dental hygienist, where attention to detail, client care, and organization were paramount. A graduate of the University of New England, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has channeled that education into a passion for ensuring smooth operations and seamless processes. Known for her dedication to client relations and organizational excellence, she plays a key role in fostering strong connections with clients while keeping daily operations running efficiently.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys cooking, camping, and spending quality time with family. These passions reflect her love for creativity, adventure, and connection—values that also shine through in her professional life.

Randy Smith

Randy Smith is a passionate and detail-oriented architectural designer based in Scarborough, Maine, with a strong focus on sustainability, green design, and harmonizing the built and natural environments. Currently pursuing licensure as an architect, Randy brings over 15 years of diverse professional experience, excelling in design leadership, project management, and technical expertise.
With a Bachelor of Architecture from Bowling Green State University, Randy has successfully managed and designed projects ranging from $1M to $7M, collaborating with clients and interdisciplinary teams to deliver creative, practical, and impactful designs. His work spans a variety of roles, including design lead for prominent firms like Knickerbocker Group and project manager for Mobile Studio Design.
Randy has extensive expertise in permitting and regulatory review, ensuring that each project complies with local, state, and federal guidelines. From advanced sand dune permitting to code reviews and compliance management, he seamlessly navigates complex regulatory landscapes to secure approvals and maintain project timelines. His meticulous attention to detail and in-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks have been instrumental in the success of numerous projects.
Randy’s approach emphasizes true collaboration, innovative problem-solving, and a commitment to minimizing environmental impact. Beyond his professional achievements, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, camping, and playing soccer, bringing a dynamic and balanced perspective to every project he undertakes.

Bruce Hubiak

Lead Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting

Bruce, the Lead Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting, brings decades of experience and passion to every project. Born and raised in New Jersey, Bruce began his carpentry journey in 1998 through on-the-job training. After eight years of honing his craft, he was promoted to lead carpenter. Over the next three years, he expanded his expertise, working on residential and commercial building projects before launching his own remodeling business in 2009. Specializing in full home renovations and additions, Bruce built a reputation for excellence and craftsmanship.
In 2023, seeking a change of pace for his family, Bruce relocated to Maine, where he crossed paths with Jason and joined the Maine Coast Contracting team. His deep knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to quality make him an invaluable part of the crew.
Bruce is happily married to his high school sweetheart, and together they have two children. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, cooking alongside his wife, and skiing with his family.

Brandon Andrews

Process Manager at Maine Coast Contracting

Brandon’s journey to becoming the Systems Manager at Maine Coast Contracting is a story of hard work, adaptability, and a passion for building and creating. Right out of high school, he began his career as a prep and fry cook in restaurants. However, his love for the ocean led him to a new path, working on offshore draggers, seiners, and inshore fishing boats, catching lobsters and shrimp. Over eight years, he developed a deep appreciation for the maritime industry and eventually transitioned to managing a fisherman’s co-op, where he spent nearly a decade buying and selling seafood wholesale and retail.
Seeking a new challenge, Brandon shifted his focus back to land, working in ground construction. From preparing driveways and home sites to installing septic systems and landscaping, he honed his skills in transforming raw land into functional spaces. It was during this time that he met Jason, the owner of Maine Coast Contracting. Jason recognized Brandon’s diverse skill set and offered him an opportunity to join his team in building custom homes.
Over the past seven years with MCC, Brandon has grown alongside the team, refining his expertise and contributing to the construction of stunning custom homes. His ability to adapt and excel in new roles has made him an invaluable member of the crew.
Outside of work, Brandon treasures time with his family. He is a proud father of four children, aged 12 to 25, and a doting grandfather to two grandkids, with two more on the way. In the summer, you’ll often find him cruising the open roads on his motorcycle with his youngest daughter, soaking in the sights and enjoying life to the fullest.
Brandon’s story is a testament to his resilience, versatility, and commitment to both his craft and his family. At MCC, he continues to embody the values of dedication and quality that define the company’s success.

Wilson Gray

Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting

Wilson is an apprentice carpenter from South Thomaston with a unique background. Initially, he pursued a degree in hospitality, where he developed a strong foundation in customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving. His passion for creativity and craftsmanship eventually led him to shift gears and follow his true calling in the trades. Now, as an apprentice carpenter, Wilson brings his meticulous work ethic and problem-solving skills to every project, tackling challenges with a thoughtful, hands-on approach.
Outside of work, Wilson is an avid boat enthusiast, spending his free time rehabbing old boats and enjoying the waters around Penobscot Bay. His love for both craftsmanship and the outdoors fuels his drive to create beautiful, functional homes while maintaining a deep connection to the environment. With a mix of creativity, dedication, and practical experience, Wilson is building a bright future in the carpentry trade.

Brad Loiselle

Brad Loiselle is a seasoned home construction professional with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. Growing up in a family rooted in construction, Brad developed a passion for building early on and has carried that dedication throughout his career. His background includes work at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts and in a German automotive shop, where he sharpened his technical skills and attention to detail. Over the years, he has gained expertise across a wide range of disciplines, including landscaping, pool construction, foundations, and frame-to-finish carpentry.
Known for his craftsmanship and commitment to quality, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and reliability to every project. Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife and two sons, continuing to build not only homes for his clients but also lasting memories with his family.

Peter Cook

Senior Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting

Peter Cook brings more than 40 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. After studying civil engineering at SUNY Delhi, he discovered his true calling while working summers on job sites, where he thrived on problem-solving and the tangible rewards of building. By 1986 he had founded his first construction company in New Jersey, later expanding his expertise through successful ventures on Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Over the decades, Peter has cultivated a reputation as a diligent, detail-oriented professional known for leadership, creativity, and delivering exceptional results on both residential and commercial projects.
Today, Peter is transitioning his life and work to Maine after designing and building his own home in Pemaquid. Dedicated to turning clients’ visions into reality, he approaches every project with the same care, craftsmanship, and client-focused mindset that has defined his career. Outside of work, Peter enjoys hiking and exploring the Maine coast, fishing, traveling with his family, and spending time with his wife, two children, and their spoiled golden retriever.

Matthew kellett

Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting

Matthew Kellett is a Carpenter with Maine Coast Contracting who is excited to be building his career in the trades. Originally from outside Philadelphia, Matt moved to Midcoast Maine in 2021 after graduating from Hobart College. He spent four years working in education before pursuing his passion for hands-on building and has quickly embraced the change of pace and challenges of carpentry.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys making the most of Maine’s outdoors. He can often be found hiking, canoeing, skiing, or playing golf when the weather is warm.

Ari Fontaine

Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting

Ari is a Carpenter at Maine Coast Contracting who brings years of hands-on experience and a passion for craftsmanship. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Ari began working in his family’s business as a teenager in 2010, gaining valuable experience in roofing, siding, framing, and concrete. After moving to Maine in 2017, he continued to build his skills in Portland, focusing on residential construction before joining MCC to further refine his expertise in fine carpentry. Known for his creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to quality, Ari is a strong contributor to every project he takes on.
Outside of work, Ari enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, kayaking, and gaming.
